The Invi Bracelet gives you a non-violent way to disrupt an attacker and create an opportunity to get away.
In an emergency, activate the bracelet to release an extremely unpleasant, repellent scent.
Simply press the safety button to unlock the bracelet from safety mode, place your fingers behind the clasp, and pull firmly to activate it.
Within seconds, the powerful, gas-like scent is released. It can cause a strong disgust reaction, disrupting an attacker’s focus and creating valuable seconds to create distance and escape. The scent can also travel over 100 metres, potentially alerting people nearby.
Only use the Invi Bracelet in threatening situations where you need to protect yourself and other options, such as escaping or calling for help, are no longer possible. For example:
- Sexual harassment or assault
- Stalking or being followed
- Aggressive approaches
- A physical attack
Always use the Invi Bracelet consciously and only as a last resort. The scent has a strong impact on your surroundings, and improper use may have consequences. Do NOT use it in crowded places such as bars or clubs if you can safely leave the situation in another way.

The scent is noticeable within seconds and, depending on ventilation, wind and indoor or outdoor use, can linger for several hours or even days if an activated Invi Bracelet is not hermetically sealed (e.g. in an empty plastic bottle).
Depending on weather conditions, bystanders may also detect the scent from a great distance, up to hundreds of meters away.
- First, go to a safe place.
- Remove the bracelet from your wrist.
- Take off any contaminated clothing and go into fresh air.
- In case of skincontact: wash with soap and water.
- A used Invi Bracelet may continue to smell for weeks. Place it inside an empty water or soda bottle and close the cap tightly to stop the scent.
- Always contact emergency services to report the gas-like smell. Also inform Invi via hello@invi.world or +31 (0)26 785 50 92 so we can offer support.
- Ask your local waste collection point how to dispose of the bracelet properly.
The Invi Bracelet is designed for prolonged daily use, but can be activated once in an emergency situation. Once the scent capsule is activated, the bracelet cannot be reused.
